Product News by Email
This page describes exactly what you say yes to if you tick the optional product news box. It is short, because the arrangement is short.
What you would get
An occasional email from COMPANYA s.r.o. at hello@whenstars.com about WhenStars itself: new features, new languages, availability in the app stores, and prices when there are any. Honestly, rarely: we would rather build the app than write newsletters. Nothing else, and never anyone else's products.
What this is, legally
Consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and the electronic-marketing consent Slovak law requires before anyone may send promotional email. It is entirely optional: the app works identically without it, and nothing about your account depends on it.
Stopping it
Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was: turn it off in your account settings at any time, or use the unsubscribe link that every such email must and will carry. Withdrawal works from that moment on; it does not make the emails you already received retroactively unlawful, because that is not how time works.
What we record
The same proof we keep for the terms: that you ticked the box, when, which version of this text you saw, and later, if you withdraw, that you withdrew and when. We never record more than that, and your address is never shared with anyone for marketing.
